It's arrived at last! There's been so much preparation for this. I hope it all goes as smoothly as the last one.
This giveaway was supposed to be a celebration for reaching 20,000 hits. I never thought i'd get to over 200,000 hits so quickly, it's an amazing feeling. And this is my way of saying thanks.

Ethels vintage trunk
Simply, this woman and her stock are wonderful. I can't wait to see what happens in the future for her.
Q&A WITH ETHELS VINTAGE TRUNK
-So, tell me a little bit about your company and where you are located.
Ethels Vintage Trunk is something I have been dreaming of doing for a while now. It is a home based company at the moment and located in West London.
-How did you get started?
Ethels Vintage Trunk is an idea born through my love of vintage and retro. I have been collecting items gradually over the years and as I have grown, I have realised that there are numerous like minded people around the world and I wanted to share my pieces and thoughts with them.
I idolise the way that femininity was a huge factor in past decades and I love the way that items from such decades can make you think and feel.
-What makes 'Ethels Vintage Trunk' different from everyone else?
I dont like to think of myself or my website as ‘different’ more as a ‘one off’. There are so many vintage shops, boutiques and websites all over the world selling all sorts of items. As of yet, I haven’t found any one that sells EXACTLY the same item.
-What are your influences?
I love to collect and source from all decades and era’s but I am especially influenced by the 1950’s and 1960’s. The 1950’s model’s and actress’s Irish McCalla and Lana Turner were absolutely stunning. An era where curves were in and a woman was a woman, not a stick.
I would also have to say that my nan is one of my biggest influences. As a child I was constantly intriqued with her collections of antiques and trinkets, subconsiously it has obviously rubbed off !
-What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Oh, where do I begin... I am an absolute hoarder so that has to be one of my weaknesses (other than a glass of champagne!). Also shoes! A girl can never have enough!
Strengths…I feel that I am a strong and independent woman who is not afraid to try new things. I love life and want to get as much out of it as I possibly can.
-What's the best advice you've ever received?
‘Live each day as if it’s your last’ …I try not to take anything for granted. Life can be a struggle and so can the elements involved but if you never try, you will never know. This is what prompted me to start up Ethels Vintage Trunk.
-What do you value most in people?
Honesty & Individuality.
-What do you hope to have achieved in the industry, 10 years from now?
10 years from now I would love to take the website and open up my own boutique. I like to speak to people face to face and see the pleasure that vintage brings to their lives. I’m working on it anyway...

Special sales event
Juno says hello is this cute online vintage site.
They also have a sales event at Home House every 6 months and an informal sale in their Clerkenwell studio once a month.
You'll be able to meet the team and try on/ buy beautiful vintage dresses.
Their seamstress is available to take fittings and the first ten guests at each event receive a special goodie bag.
They want me to let you know about their next studio sale. It's on Thursday 17th June, 3pm-9pm. They invite girls (or boys) to come and relax after work with a glass of wine and browse the lovely stock. Their latest collection includes designs by Caroline Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Pucci and Balmain - not available online until July!
