H Me Time

This is not a normal 'me time' post. I'm now going to explain what happened at hospital. Skip this bit if you want, I don't mind, it's boring.

So...
the ambulance arrived ten minutes before my appointment. The ambulance peeps were so lovely, like 'oh my I love you' and i'll forgive you for all the clunking and bashing that's about to incur lovely. We arrive at hospital. An awfully snobby lady comes over, looks me up and down and repeats 'it's inappropriate for you to be here'. They then sent me home because I'm too poorly for them to help me. The ambulance peeps rebelled, I couldn't stop laughing. Ambulance peeps always seem more understanding. I'd become a doctor to help people, pick difficult cases and try to help the person (fix up look sharp). I'm now home, this was over rather quickly, i'm going to be asleep for a while. I'll write this experience off as if it's a poor smashed up car.

I've noticed the oh so lovely change in temperature but not really the 'spring' in 'spring'. Now everything is blooming. I feel like i'm permanently wearing rose tinted glasses.

The other day, I purchased the perfect black midi ,slightly sheer, skirt. Until the age of 14, I didn't know what a dress was. I wore skinny jeans and a band esque baggy tee (I know, i'm so cool), that was my uniform. I then discovered the dress (with thanks to my chlay), i've long forgotten my old uniform but i'm now willing to make a compromise with my (seriously) giant collection of tees. The only problem, I have no idea how to style them. I don't want to look big/boxy. The belt or maybe a ribbon? Not really my thing, Miss coury from fancy treehouse pulls it off perfectly without that need. Any other ideas? Twitter me.

I'm sorry if i'm not as blogger active for the next few days/weeks, hospital thing tomorrow, who knows what's going to happen. I hope everything's good in your hood.

These are more summer than spring but oh well. As a kid I used to go to Walton on the naize (a seaside town near me) a lot. I've always wanted to go back, they had the cutest little pier, where i'd play dancemat until I had to go home. The rocks in these photos look like a beach near my best friend's. I wish my camera was as attached to me then as it is now.

I saw my first blossom of spring today. The tree around the corner from me is being stubborn so I hunted for another, ended up covered in blossom, thank you world.

Me Time.

I've had a busy few days. I've been making more jewellery for the library showcase I have soon. It's the biggest library in the county, it's amazing how many people will walk past and see. I adore rings and it shows through, if I could only make rings, I would.

Saw an old friend today, had a proper lovely catch up and made a floral head wreath each (both with blue flowers).
Craft shopping on sunday went well, better than expected actually, I now have two full bags of lovely-ness to play with.

I also found my perfect straw hat, i'm about to remove the weird ribbon that came with it and replace with , well ,i'm not sure yet.

Fingers crossed for sun tomorrow.
