So yes, it's been crazy and amazing today. As we were setting up, someone came over to check everything out and ended up buying something! Chuffed.

Meet my perfect wear-with-anything-and-everything shoes. Dear Head over heels, I have much love for you.

This dress is a result from my lovely blogger friend, Laura. She sent me a pretty package which included, this dress (that actually arrived as a skirt, who doesn't love a bit of DIY), a pretty tee (with killer shoulder pads) and a handmade card.
I love people who thrift/charity shop buy and then make changes. I didn't have to do much to turn this into a dress but I got such a rush. I'm searching for white items that I can tye dye soon too, I can't wait to see what I end up with.

I'm having a Dane Cook film fest. I love him.
Anyway, it's unbearably hot here. My love hate, hate love relationship with the weather is typical. I hope it's hot but not too hot with you today. I took a cold shower earlier, it was heaven.

Me Time

A selection of my jewellery's being used in a fashion show today! It's happening in a cutique (cute + boutique) near me. Sadly I can't go, which means no photos, but i'll let you know what happens.

I'm eighteen and i've never been properly fitted for a bra. That's five (ish) years of an ill fitting bra. Yesterday I did the deed. I've been meaning to for a while and now I have it's such a relief. I'm now a proud C cup. If you haven't been fitted (especially if you have big boobs) go get it done. I promise it's not as embarassing as you think it's going to be.

If you follow me on twitter, you may have seen that I hacked a bit of my thumb off this morning. I'm a left hander so typically it was my left thumb (apparently left handed peeps are spawn of the devil). I'm alive and feeling sorry for myself (it hurts like a beep).

My Week In Multiple Exposures

My beautiful new shoes arrived today and i'm in love. They haven't been off my feet. I'm always wearing ted (AKA my gap wedges, note- I name everything ted). How do I make sure old ted doesn't get jealous of new ted?

I've had a lovely few days. Making jewels (last chance to order jewels before closing tonight), taking photos and generally being in the sun. I met someone new yesterday that I really clicked with ("i'm weird, you're weird, let's get together" kind of thing). I'm teaching him about peep show (I mean who doesn't know peep show?).

This is my new elvis shirt. For under a tenner (from etsy, including P&P) I couldn't resist (it's more sparkly in person). The only problem? I have no idea how to style this baby (tweet me if you do).

I've had such a lovely response to the 'show me your sketchbook' feature, thank you all! I really appreciate it (++ send me yours!)

Another warning, I'm temporarily shutting my etsy at the end of the next week.
It's while my jewellery exhibition is on, expect lots of new items when I re-open (and wish me luck for the exhibition).

Apart from navy blue and more navy blue, i'm not a colour blocking person. Does my hair count as colour blocking? I mean what matches pink hair?
Also, my hair does not agree with rain. If you live in a rainy area, don't dye your hair a silly colour. I think the weather gods are on my side though (I seem to get back from going out and then it starts to rain). Thank you weather gods.

I've also found a new favourite location. Typically by a river, i'll try not to fall in.

My week's been taken over by hair dye, photos and a medicine misshap. Hell and lots of water later, i'm back to being able to keep my eyes open.

I was inspired by Deanna (of Le bibliotheque) & Lola (of The blackgolden book) who posted sketchbook/journal entries that I simply couldn't take my eyes off. Looking at a person's journal is personal, it's a peek into their mind.
