I found out yesterday that Google's cancelling Google friend connect. Meaning? If you're based on Blogger, you're kind of safe, if not, you might lose your followers. Apparently they're cancelling it because it's not as popular as they hoped it'd be and Google+ will be the new way (it'll be like Bloglovin'). I guess this also means if you're not on Blogger, i'll lose you. I need to learn how to use Bloglovin'. More about it all here. If you use Bloglovin', follow me here.

I went photo-taking tuesday and came across two horses. I held out my hand for one to sniff me, just like you see in them movies, and they let me pet them after a while. Now I know why every child wishes for a pony. Hopefully going back with a model soon.

My Grandy & (technically Step Gran but we call her) Sallie are coming down (from Wales) tomorrow! My Grandy's so inspiring, he used to be a rally driver and travelled all over the world (he also has a full blown moustache).

Mould (Without & With)

In my life (of climbing around especially muddy places) I've never seen pink mould. Just googled "pink mould" and nothing came up. A mystery we can now call Hivenn? Not that I want to be associated with mould ,but y'know, it's pink!

Happy thanksgiving to American peeps! I wish we celebrated in the UK but maybe we can have chicken instead of turkey (i'm not turkey's biggest fan). Even Canada have a thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my family (whether blood linked or who I like to surround myself with).

My mum has an official boob appointment. On Monday she will be poked and prodded, they will know whether it's fo sho clear at the time and if not, they biopsy a bit (we then find out within a week). Eeek.

My Week In Multiple Exposures

Today's shoot went well. Ended up in an orchard trying not to fall in the dried up river (I had it easy in flat boots, not big wedges like Sophia). Hopefully going to an old fashioned sleep over tomorrow, i'm always in the mood for pillow fights and gorging on marshmellows.

Only five monday's left till christmas, good luck with that.

Me Time

This is my first "pop of colour" coat (full length shot here). I never used to be bothered about coats. My best friend has a collection of great coats (including little red riding hood and a cute black duffle coat) and then there's me in a thin parka I nicked from a boy. When I was ten my mum took me on a coat buying trip, I liked one, got it, then my childhood best friend said something harsh about it and I never wore it again. Maybe it all links back to that. But this year, I have three lovely coats to choose from. Maybe my luck's changed.

I have a few really exciting photoshoots this week. One with a makeup artist I haven't worked with before. She studied at the London College of Fashion and her portfolio is amazing. I can't wait to see what happens.

I'm in disbelief how close it is to christmas. Thirty six days to be exact. I'm seeing my best friend in the whole wide world the weekend before and I'm ridiculously excited to see her. It's been too long.

I've been feeling non-ish the past few days but I feel better today. My mum's officially being referred for a mammogram which is scary. We're trying to do the whole "don't worry until something bad is definitely happening" but it's lame. I keep telling myself that there's a 90% chance of it not being the C word, which means it's 10% of it being so. 10% is a nice small percentage at least.

So I almost gave up on this feature as I was failing to find an I. I didn't want to "ask the audience" (aka twitter) again but I also couldn't think of an I. I then had an I but the I didn't want to play ball. And then, ISLABELL. I'm a big fan of this ladies blog but it totally slipped my mind that her name began with an I. Sometimes with all the blog names and then actual names, it's hard to know which is which. If I had a penny for every email i've received calling me Hivenn. So here's another double week, I hope you love these as much as I do.
