2011 In Multiple Exposures

I started the year playing with my new camera. I've always wanted to do multiple exposures but my DSLR was the only one out of the range that couldn't. Spotted the multiple button on my SLR (Nikon F100) and the rest is history. I love doing multiples on film because you never ever know how they're going to turn out. A tree here, a face there, a nail in your eye, mmm. Here are my favourites!






My resolution is to keep moving forward. I started the year stupidly poorly and now it's a completely different story. I can say and mean that i'm happy. Anyway. Have a lovely night and an amazing 2012! Thank you to my new & old followers, i'd share my werthers with you.

I was germ free for Christmas day! No breathing not through my nose for me. I've had such a great week. Met up with Cohen friday for photos, food (if you ever go to Giraffe have their sweet potato fries) & wine. So good to catch up.

I had a pre-Christmas Christmas meal with my mum on saturday , watched a film and exchanged gifts. On sunday I went out with my dad & two brothers. I got a chance to talk to the brother I don't talk to much which was nice. I took lots of photos but I now can't find anywhere to develop the film (I used Efke infrared B&W film if you have any idea, please tweet me). After lunch we went back to my dad's and my three cousins, aunt & uncle came over. I hadn't seen them since last Christmas! They looked so grown up. My oldest cousin, Grace, is fourteen and we talked. Like properly for the first time, so surreal.

I can't believe it's nearly 2012! Where are the flying cars?

My Week In Multiple Exposures

I'm currently immersed in two types of germs (and I do not deal well with germs to start with). I have the last stages of the chest/throat germ and the first stages of the stuffy nose/head/generally feel like i'm about to explode germ. So far i've actually managed not to kill anyone.

Outfit

This is my first state of un-dress (I think) ever on my blog. I bought this top for a friend, wore it myself a few times, then gave it to my brother AND THEN reclaimed it. So this tee is loved (and even better, cost $1 from Etsy). These cords (which are actually burgundy) are from Gap, coat's Mantaray (from Debenhams), the bag's Ally capellino, the boots Stylist Pick and jewellery Hivenj.

So i'm not in Devon. Chlay & I were hoping that she'd be out of hospital relatively quickly but hospital being hospital, no such luck. I'm in the middle of checking the railway works but i'll simply walk if I don't see my Chlay by my birthday (late January).

I made my excuses and bought THE Tim Walker book. I'll still be dreaming about this one though.

There's this boy. This cute lovely boy who I rather like. We go on dates, talk nonsense and he even drinks Rosé with me. This isn't about to become a shout out but y'know sup.

The closer we get to Christmas, the more I seem to lose track. My favourite tip for present buying? Make sure you like it so if they don't, you can casually keep it.

Lightbulb Moment

These photos were taken with May on Saturday. After shopping we ended up in a little art gallery. The guy working there mocked my camera. I like a good mock but a stranger non-joke non-flirty mock? Really?

Today I did the deed. I went to the hairdressers for the first time in about six years and had my hair cut. When I was twelve I paid too much to have too little cut off and then when I was fifteen, the opposite. Then with all the hospital palaver, it just didn't happen. Yesterday I had a hair epiphany ,booked an appointment at this cute salon I've passed before and had my hair cut. It was definitely worth it (because i'm worth it).

My best friend's been taken into hospital. I love her so much and I hope to everything that she gets through this. Sigh.
